Hospitality Crew helping trainees I blogged this recently however it's worth noting here since blog posts tend to sink into the depths of the IT bucket and become overrun.

We're lining up and having meetings with a number of training establishments which should include the likes of TAFE.

What's the purpose of this? Well, what we'd like to do is get a group of 'Crew' (trainees), who are entering into or are already are in hospitality courses, to regularly blog about the highs, lows, good and bad stuff they experience during their course. We believe this will provide substantial value to our readers and, more importantly, significantly increases the trainee's profile in the industry and naturally, the likelihood of securing a far better crew position when they're looking to utilise their skills.

Imagine applying for a position with your blog experiences on your resume? The employer will take one look at that and say 'Yeah, I remember your story. You've really got commitment and enthusiasm and a fantastic work ethic. Those are qualities our business is looking for. You're HIRED!!!'.

OK, it might not go exactly according to that scenario but you get the idea. The more people that know you and about you, the better opportunities that will present themselves to you - that's just a natural law of life. Connections. Networking. Opportunities.

We're totally confident we'll find 14 people (7 males and 7 females) in a variety of hospitality and tourism courses once we get to better know the people in the training sector. This blog is about anyone that would like to jump the queue and sign on for an expression of interest and partake in this. Even if you're going to be Year 1 next year, let us know.

We'd like to involve you and see our participants get the very best position they're able during their traineeship.
