Coming to a new site can be a little daunting for some - I know it takes me a little while to come to grips when I visit a new site. One thing that can help through this is a brief explaination of site functionality as well as FAQs that visitors can browse through.
Getting A New Account
Nothing could be easier. You'll see the sidebar section titled 'User Login' - simply click the 'Create new account' link and follow through filling in the details and an email will be sent outlining a link to click so you can log in and set your password. You then have access to all the registered user areas and special features.
Forgot Your Password?
Yes, I know it happens and has happened to us many times. In the 'User Login' section on the sidebar, you'll see a 'Request new password' link. Surf on over to that one, click and fill in either your current Hospitality Crew username or the email address you used when previously registering. We'll email you a link to follow so you can reset your password and continue using the Hospitality Crew site as you did before. No trouble at all.
Blogging
OK, if you've never blogged before then I really think you need to give it a try. Hospitality Crew allow you to blog about whatever you like as long as it's abiding by acceptable usage as outlined HERE. Blogging is your own piece of webspace where you can talk about work, good and bad stuff that's happening there and anything that is happening in your general and personal life - you name it and you can blog about it - we don't care!!!!
Our blogs allow you to Send A Blog Post to a friend/s so they can comment on your post. It's really good fun once you get the hang of it. You get your own mini-community going.

Don't Really Wanna Mess With Remote Blogging Just Yet?
That's fine too. Blogging via our website isn't really that bad. Once you've logged in, youll have your own personal navigation bar on the right hand sidebar has a link called 'My Blog'. Selecting this will display all your blog posts which you can look through and edit, if you'd like. At the very top of the page is also a link 'Post new blog entry' - yep, you guessed it, click this.
Just fill out the Title you'd like to use, select a Blog Section from the drop-down list (if you think we need to add another relevant site wide section type, let us know) and write your blog post in the editor that we've provided. Once you're happy with it, scroll to the bottom of the page and click either 'Preview' or 'Save'. Even if you 'Save' and want to change something a little later, no problems. View the blog post and click the 'Edit' link and make your changes and 'Save' again.
Forums
Forums are a little different to Blogs. The forums are designed to be much more interactive and using any and all users that wish to take part in a forum thread (think of this as a conversation on a particular subject that anyone can join in if they please). Forums are really good for keeping track of conversations in the one place, forums keep all the history of the conversation so that's great for new people who can browse and come up to speed on the subject material without all those 'Hey, I'm new, can you explain about blah blah ...' sort of questions.
