The Queensland Tourism Industry Council has developed a new project, named QTIC-Y (www.qtic.com.au/qticy ). QTIC-Y is a Generation Y tourism and hospitality network linking students, employees, entrepreneurs and stakeholders together. 

The network has three main objectives:

• Raising awareness of and articulation of Generation Y priorities to wider industry, government and media
• Networking within the Y community and the wider industry for job referrals, peer mentoring and training
• Offering training and business development support for members as well as cost-effective consultancy for SMEs

QTIC Y invites you to become members of this network.  Along with meeting likeminded people from the industry, further benefits include peer mentoring, access to an on-line networking platform for employment and work experience referrals, regular newsletters, professional development through training seminars and workshops, as well as travel and leisure discounts.
